.Net Developer

Description: Insignia Technology Services is seeking an experienced .Net Developer to help provide support to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Inspector General (OIG) Business Operations Support Services (BOSS) for the Distributed Computing Environment (DCE). The .NET Developer is a vital member of an O&M team providing critical multi-tiered end-user support of over 700 HUD OIG users deployed across every state, district and territory where HUD has a presence on a 24x7x365 basis using multiple channel communications to include but not limited to voice, email, web chat, IM and VTC.

Full Time Position

Required Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to lead a team and liaise with network administrators and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems
Ability to plan phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Ability to consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications per specifications
Ability to perform system analysis, design and development
Ability to administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem area

Technical Requirements:
5+ years experience .Net, C# development experience
Experience as a software developer team lead
Experience with Visual Studio, SQL
Experience with configuration management, version control, and build automation

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or in information technology, engineering, or a field closely related to the nature of the position or relevant experience.

Clearance:
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust, BI clearance
Must be a US Citizen

Location:
Washington, DC (HUD OIG offices located at 451 7th Street SW, one block from the L'Enfant Metro Station.)
